Although coffee wasn't introduced to Colombia until the early 1800s, the soil and climate gives rise to perfect coffee growing conditions. When freshly roasted, Colombian coffee has a bright acidity, has a heavy body, and is intensely aromatic.
These organically grown coffee beans are produced without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. The beans are selected for roasting at their peak ripeness, and the ripe cherry fruit is pulped, fermented and sun-dried with expert skill before it is packaged and shipped.
The growers use 7.5 pounds of the ripe fruit to make one pound of the finished coffee beans, and the concentrated richness of this product makes it a coffee drinkers' dream.
KRKN Coffee is not in the crowded coffee business, but we are always working to find great products for our customers. We want to share what we think is a superior Colombian Arabica coffee bean. Enjoy!
