The highly sought after Gesha coffee bean is an extraordinaire of the coffee connoisseur. It is believed to have originated in the Gesha village in Ethiopa, and was imported from Costa Rica to Panama in the Boquete region. Its popularity and prestige arose in 2004, when Hacienda La Esmeralda entered a worldwide coffee competition with the unique blend, proving it to be distinct and attracting connoisseurs.
It is considered to produce a very aromatic and floral cup of coffee. Get it while it's still in stock!
These organically grown coffee beans are produced without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. The beans are selected for roasting at their peak ripeness, and the ripe cherry fruit is pulped, fermented and sun-dried with expert skill before it is packaged and shipped.
The growers use 7.5 pounds of the ripe fruit to make one pound of the finished coffee beans, and the concentrated richness of this product makes it a coffee drinkers' dream.
KRKN Coffee is not in the crowded coffee business, but we are always working to find great products for our customers. We want to share what we think is a superior Arabica Bourbon coffee bean. Enjoy!
